Clovernook understands that the skills we need to become successful, self-confident adults start developing at an early age. The Discovery program is designed to help each visually impaired child develop their full potential by offering a variety of learning and social opportunities that are focused on their specific challenges. Discovery program activities are offered year-round in Cincinnati, with specific day camp programs in the summer in Cincinnati and Memphis. Students have the opportunity to gain experience in menu planning and cooking, use of adapted computer technology, chaperoned field trips for cultural enrichment, safe and independent mobility instruction, and sometimes even summer work experience either at Clovernook or in the community.
