Clovernook Center for the Blind and Visually Impaired is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
EEO M/F/D/V
Clovernook employment can be for the short or long term, depending on an individual’s skills and career goals. For those who are referred by a vocational rehabilitation agency to receive work adjustment training or otherwise gain work experience as preparation for future community employment, our staff is able to provide the individualized support that is necessary. This is accomplished through the help of two in-house job coaches who are specially trained in methods for assisting individuals to develop a desirable work attitude, increase work output, gain communication skills, and address other barriers to employment. Our in-house job coaches have more than fourteen years of experience between them. Off the production floor, our program specialist functions as the service coordinator for each participant, ensuring that adequate planning, supports, and training is taking place for the individual to function as independently as possible in any work setting. Clovernook’s program specialist holds a bachelor’s degree and has dedicated more than three years of service to individuals with multiple disabilities.
